Learning Objectives:

1. Participants will be able to understand how school can support students’ independent living goals with technology and partnering with community agencies to meet individual needs.

2.
     *Describe three supports that are helping people with disabilities obtain careers in logistics, modern manufacturing and information technology related jobs.
     *Identify at least three pieces of assistive technology / strategies that have been helpful in the classroom and at work.
     *Discuss and apply two promising practices learned by the Career Pathways for Individuals with Disabilities (CPID) Project in Virginia.
